President to Address Congress
A new direction for the Country?
by Betty Brant
For over a year now, the country has been divided on the question of Superhuman Registration. Raised after the incident in Stamford where over 200 people died including 85 children whose classrooms were caught in the blast, this along with the attempted Invasion of New York, the Ultron Incident and Sokovia created a climate of fear that needed a response.
Now we have seen where our fear as led us, freedom has been compromised for security and all about us people wonder when the Sentinels and the ATCU will come for me or my family? It is a situation that this country was founded to fight against, heroes have also been divided, the AVENGERS were sundered and people still wonder when they look up into the skies when they will see hope again.
We cannot as a tolerant society condone a law that limits the freedom of others based purely on their genetic heritage - Barack Obama
Rumors have been flying around Washington since the President formally requested to address both houses of the Chamber. It is not often that a President will make this request but is shows the importance of what the President is going to say.
White House Communications Director C.J Craig has said only that the President is going to outline his position on the SRA after recent events and that he wants to show the Nation and the rest of the world that the United States represents the best that the world has to offer. The President addresses all of us tonight at 8pm EST, history awaits.
